Getting Started

This section describes how to create your portal account, sign in, and recover access
to RLM Cloud.

Receiving an Invitation
#######################

You do not create your own portal account. Instead, an **Admin** user creates your user
record, and you receive an emailed invitation link. The invitation link is valid for
**48 hours**; if it expires, ask your administrator to send a new invitation.

Opening the invitation link takes you to an account setup page. On this page you set:

* **First name**
* **Last name**
* **Password**

Password Requirements
#####################

Passwords must meet the following requirements:

* At least **12 characters**.
* A mix of uppercase and lowercase letters.
* At least one number.
* At least one symbol.

Signing In
##########

To sign in, go to https://cloud.reprisesoftware.com and enter your **email address**
and **password** on the sign-in page, then press **Sign In**. A **Forgot password** link
appears below the **Sign In** button.

Account Lockout
###############

For security, the portal locks an account after **5 failed sign-in attempts**. The
account remains locked for **15 minutes**, and the sign-in page displays the message:

	Account is locked. Contact your administrator.

You can wait for the 15-minute lockout to expire, or an **Admin** can unlock your
account immediately from **Admin** > **Users**.

Forgot / Reset Password
#########################

If you forget your password, use the **Forgot password** link on the sign-in page to
request a reset link by email. Requests are throttled to roughly one every **60
seconds**. The reset link expires **30 minutes** after it is sent; request a new link
if it expires before you use it.

After Sign-In
##############

After you sign in, you land on the **Cloud Servers** page. The persistent left sidebar
provides navigation to the main areas of the portal — **Cloud Servers**, **Products**,
**Companies** (labeled **Customers**), **ID Licensing**, **Logs & Reports**, and the
**Admin** area for Admin users.
